Sustainability

The way you eat in order to lose weight is the way you have to eat to maintain that new weight. If you’re jumping onto some new diet trend to get back on track - that’s the way you will have to eat to stay on track.

When making changes or improvements to your diet think about what is really realistic to you.
What can you continue to do? How is this going to work long term?

Sustainability is trendy right now. We are trying to “shop sustainable” when it comes to our clothes and food and other products. But what does eating sustainably mean? should feel good now and later
should build your confidence
should be satisfying in all the ways food is satisfying

If a new diet doesn’t feel good, if it is making you feel guilty and hungry - then DON’T do it!

So I’m asking you again; how can you eat sustainably?

Ensure you are building a sustainable and realistic way of eating from the beginning. Know you can continue to be successful after WLS for years to come and feel confident and satisfied about what and how you are eating.
